On the first Friday of every month, The Albuquerque Artwalk puts on, “ABQ Art Walk,” a walking event in downtown Albuquerque featuring independent artists, entrepreneurs, artisans as well as brick and mortar businesses.
Music was everywhere!
I was not aware of ABQ Art Walk until being told about it recently by some new friends here. With the weather turning more Spring-like by the day, I decided to head out and see it for myself.

There were people smiling and music playing everywhere I went, and were it not for the spacing with restaurants and bars at limited capacity, it would be easy to forget the pandemic. Still, it was a perfect night out; the weather was fantastic and the beverages frosty.

Off camera, I managed to run into the person that got ABQ Art Walk started and will interview him soon, but for now I thought it would be nice to show some pics of people safely enjoying our city, and I’ll be sure to feature some of these entrepreneurs and artists soon.
