The headstone for Walter White, lead character of the infamous television series Breaking Bad, dies at the end of the show’s run and some local Burquenos thought it would be fun to commemorate the show.
I was driving around Albuquerque on a weekend, enjoying the sun and exploring a little.
I moved to New Mexico last year and three days later the pandemic started. Now that we are fully open as a state I have started checking out places I haven’t been yet.
Everywhere I go in Albuquerque, I run into Hollywood. I live in Nob Hill and one time a Hollywood production took over half my street for a few weeks. It was a lot of fun seeing all the equipment and workers moving things around to create scenes for whatever movie was being filmed. (I was told it’s a “save the world” thriller by a worker.)
Driving through North Valley, I really liked the area. As I drove past The Village Shops at Los Ranchos (6855 4th Street NW), I decided to pull in and see what was there.
I walked along the wooden sidewalk, and then I ran into Hollywood!
